When I wake up in the morning, its all too easy for my mind to wander off. I will think about what happened last night, or what I read on social media. It helps me to have a few quick things I can think of before I do anything else, to help direct my thoughts, words, and actions.
This list helps me alleviate the pressure I would otherwise impose on myself. If I remember why I am here, and why my goals are important to accomplish, I’m much less likely to put them off. However, what is most important about this time is that I check in with myself, and figure out what I need. This helps me bring my best self to the table in everyday life.
